Very slow ping with Windows 7 wifi hosted network
I created a wifi softAP using the windows 7 hostednetwork feature.
When trying to ping from the host to a connected client, I get really bad results (avg. 200ms), but when pinging from the client to the host the results are much better (avg. 10ms.). Trying replacing the host's wireless adapter, repositioning the antenna, and using multiple clients (my phone and my laptop) - all without any improvement.
Is the performance of this feature inherently poor, or am I missing some important configuration?
