The restaurant consulting firm was retained by the Latin American Division of the financial institution Merrill Lynch to perform due diligence assessments of two of its Brazilian restaurant brand investments.
Merrill Lynch's Rio de Janeiro-based restaurants Porc?o Rio's Churrascaria and Galleria Gourmet have each undergone a thorough business operations assessment by Synergy's team of restaurant consultants. Porc?o Rio's Churrascaria is an upscale steakhouse known for its family-style wait service, diverse menu and signature skewers of grilled beef, pork, lamb, chicken and fish. Galleria Gourmet is a popular buffet-style restaurant featuring meats cooked to order and numerous traditional Brazilian side dishes.
The primary goals of Synergy's operations assessments were to identify potential growth opportunities and evaluate the brand expansion capabilities of both restaurants. Synergy's assessment team included financial, operations and culinary experts who delivered actionable objectives on business elements including standardization practices, cost control, food quality and process execution.
